Travelling by Road
From the A38 travelling West,

  • leave the A38 at the PLYMOUTH slip road (Marsh Mills Roundabout).
  • •Follow signs for CITY CENTRE and the TORPOINT FERRY. The ferry runs every 15 minutes in the daytime or every half an hour after 2130 (15 minutes and 45 minutes past the hour departing for Cornwall). Board ferry.
  • •Drive through and out of TORPOINT on the A374. After 3 miles, fork left at ANTONY (RING O’ BELLS pub) onto the B3247
  • •Follow signs for MILLBROOK. After one mile, turn left at T junction.
  • •After one mile turn right onto coast road to CAWSAND (4 miles)
  • •Entering village take first fork on right (red telephone box).
  • •Carry on down hill and into village square. In the square, turn right down to beach
  • YOU HAVE ARRIVED - we are the second house on the right THE OLD ADMIRALTY BOATHOUSE


From the A38 travelling East, drive towards PLYMOUTH

  • •At TRERULEFOOT Roundabout take second exit signposted A374 TORPOINT
  • •Drive through POLBATHIC (2 miles)
  • •After 3 miles turn right and go uphill to CRAFTHOLE
  • • At mini roundabout take first exit (straight on) towards MILLBROOK (B3427)
  • • After two miles, turn right onto coast road to CAWSAND (4 miles)
  • • Entering village take first fork on right (red telephone box).
  • • Carry on down hill and into village square. In the square, turn right down to beach
  • YOU HAVE ARRIVED - we are the second house on the right THE OLD ADMIRALTY BOATHOUSE

Travelling by Rail

  • Travel by train to Plymouth, can be one of the most relaxing ways to travel. (Top tip: Face forward on the left hand side) You can get full timetable information from the National Rail Enquires website.
  • Buses depart for CAWSAND right outside the station (route 81C) please check bus timetables at http://www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/southwest/devon/timetables/index.php?operator=6&page=1&redirect=no
  • The bus will drop you at Cawsand with a short downhill walk to SEA EDGE
  • As an alternative, take a taxi to the Torpoint Ferry, cross as a foot passenger (free) and taxi or bus to Cawsand to suit. (8 miles distant)
